Lawyer with more than a decade of experience in media, entertainment and technology. He is listed in several international legal rankings, such as Chambers Global Guide, The Best Lawyers and The Legal 500. Member of the Ethics Committee of the Brazilian Association of Institutional and Governmental Relations (ABRIG) and Director of Government Relations at the Brazil California Chamber of Commerce.
He was responsible for implementing and leading, for four years, the Government Relations practice of CQS Law Firm, with a successful performance in the Congress and in the Executive branch in matters related to the regulation of the media sector. During those years, he had discussed about tax incentive mechanisms for production, regulation of pay-TV and new technologies, such as video on demand (VoD) and linear OTT, including taxation and combating piracy.
Roberto has earned his Bachelor of Laws from the Estácio de Sá University, and he is a specialist in State Law from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ).
Lawyer and political consultant, listed by the ranking The Legal 500 as a “Recommended Lawyer” for the Government Relations practice. Partner at DPJ Law, he leads the Institutional and Government Relations practice, being responsible for supervising daily activities and promoting business growth.
Previously, he coordinated the Government Relations practice at CQS Law Firm and worked on the technology team at Prospectiva - a leading political consultancy. He was also Advocacy Coordinator at the NGO Engajamundo, responsible for the lobby team at the UN Climate Conferences.
Luizio has earned his Bachelor of Laws from the Toledo Education Institution(ITE), and an MBA in Government Relations from the Getúlio Vargas Foundation(FGV).
